Important information

Strict Ferry Schedules: This tour operates on a precise, mandatory multi-island ferry schedule. You must board the designated connection ferries at the exact times provided to you upon check-in. Missing a connection ferry will result in the forfeiture of the remainder of the tour.
Photo ID Required: The primary account holder must present a valid government-issued photo ID matching the name on the reservation at Pier 33 to collect boarding passes. Tickets are strictly non-transferable.
Strenuous Walking: Both islands feature steep hills, historical stairs, and uneven paved paths. Sturdy, comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes are highly recommended.
Dress in Layers: Bay weather changes rapidly and drastically. It can be sunny at Pier 33, extremely windy and cold on Alcatraz, and warm on Angel Island. Bring a jacket or sweater.
Food & Drink: Food service is very limited on the islands. While Angel Island has a seasonal café, we highly recommend purchasing snacks/lunch at Pier 33 or bringing a packed lunch. (Please note: Food consumption is prohibited on Alcatraz outside the dock zone, but permitted on Angel Island).
